Minimum Stay Requirement: A two-night minimum stay is required. If requesting either Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday weekend stay, both nights will be charged at the weekend rate. A three-night minimum stay is required for many holiday weekends. Minimum occupancy for the Lodge is 4 adults.

Minimum Age: You must be 21 years of age.

Damages: We, the owner's of Bear's Den Lodge, have designed, built and furnished the structure with the highest quality materials. We expect that our guests will at all times respect the inside, outside and surrounding property We reserve the right to charge your credit card for any damages or excessive cleaning from your stay. If you notice any problems upon checking in, please let us know immediately to avoid any damages being charges to your account.

Amenities: Occasionally appliances, hot tubs, fireplaces, etc. can malfunction. We will service and restore these amenities as quickly as we can, but will not make any rental concession for time without these items. Likewise, loss of electricity, water, or other ìActs of God or Natureî that are outside of our control will not result in a refund of any monies paid. Due to cleaning and servicing, hot tubs are sometimes not up to full temperature at the time of check in and may need several hours to heat. We ask that you follow all guidelines and policies regarding use of amenities in order to keep them functioning at peak efficiency. Failure to do so may result in damage or excessive cleaning charges.

Driving Conditions: Hocking County is a very rural county with curvy and hilly roads which in some areas requires cautious driving. The driveway leading to Bearís Den Lodge is a gravel drive which is maintained regularly. On occasion, especially in winter months, road and/ or driveway conditions may be slippery. At these times, 4-wheel drive is recommended.

Holidays: Holiday stays are charged at the weekend rate, and usually have a 3-day minimum stay requirement.

Payment: A 50% deposit is required at the time of reservation. Three weeks prior to arrival the balance is due.

Cancellation: $60 fee for any cancellation. 25% forfeiture of your total booking price for any cancellation within 45 days of arrival. No refund for any cancellation within 21 days of arrival.

Check-in: Check-in is between 4:00p.m.-7 p.m. A greeter/tour guide will be waiting for your arrival at the lodge. For a later check in time, special arrangements must be made at least one week prior to your scheduled arrival. We expect all parties checking in to be present for a tour.

Check-out: Check out is by 11 a.m. Upon checking in you will be given a sheet of items required for check. Please follow these guidelines upon check out. We are not able to accommodate late checkouts.

Occupancy: Our rates are based on double, two-person occupancy. Our lodge accommodates a maximum of 10 guests. Additional adults are charged $25/guest/night plus tax. The amount of guests booked at time of reservation must match the amount of guests at check in. No additional visitors permitted.

Smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside or outside of the lodge, except for a designated area on the front porch with a butt depository provided. Absolutely no discarding of butts anywhere on the property. A minimum cleaning/environmental charge of $500 will be charged for any smoking in the structure or on the grounds other than the designated area (part of this clean-up includes but is not limited to cleaning all windows, window treatments, walls, carpet, running special filter devices, etc.).

No children and No Pets: We do not accommodate children or pets. We can recommend nearby lodging facilities suitable for children and pets.

Hunting: Absolutely no hunting of any kind is permitted anywhere on the property.

ATV's/motorcycles: Absolutely no all terrain vehicles, 4-wheelers, motorcycles or other recreational vehicles may be used on the property at any time. Only the use of motorcycles as a mode of tranportation to the unit may be used and only on the designated driveways and parking areas.

Fireworks: Absolutely no fireworks/firecrackers of any kind permitted to be used anywhere, anytime on the property.
